Stiffener Brackets for the VW Transporter Bike Rack

We’ve designed our Stiffener Brackets for the VW Transporter Bike Rack to improve the stability of the bike rack when installed on a soft Kombi style flooring.

Whilst our bike rack is strong and sturdy, when you fit this over a soft floor the compression of the flooring can affect how stable the rack feels, particularly when there is no bulkhead fitted. To combat this, we’ve designed a stiffener bracket that works in conjunction with the VW Transporter bike rack to make it more rigid in this van configuration.

It’s principally designed for use in Kombi vans, but as more and more people are opting to install the soft flooring in their panel vans, it will do the job just as well in those.

Please note this product is not compatible for VW Transporters with a bulkhead fitted.
