Description
The Loaded Bikes Road Bike Rear Axle Stand is based on our popular MTB version,
It’s still made out of the same, thick, folded stainless steel, but has been made taller to accommodate the larger chainrings of Road & Gravel bikes so both they and the rear mech are kept clear of the floor when the rear wheel needs to come off.
The base has also been widened for greater stability with lighter bikes with slotted flanges allowing the stand to be fixed to the floor if required.
A chain idler is also provided to take up the slack in the chain so it doesn’t trail on the floor. Simply pass your rear axle through the idler and drop the chain in to the groove once the axles is seated on the stand.
Combined with our fork mount, it’s the a great way to transport your bikes when space in your van is limited.
